Thanks to all the red head residents of the Southern Highlands who braved the weather and came to our gathering in Corbett Gardens. There was a great energy with so many of us in one space, and I love all the different ages, sexes and shades of red that were present. Now onto the individual portraits!

Red Heads Wanted!

Hi Guys,

If you see either of these fliers around the Southern Highlands over the next week then spread the word Red Heads are WANTED!

As well as being a FREE fun community event and a great cause for a group photo, this is a networking opportunity for me to gather as many contact details as possible for future exhibition work.

Once again I’m looking to photograph red heads and given the high numbers of red heads in the Southern Highlands I’m going to make this body of work local to my new surrounds. So please spread the word, and if you’re keen to participate rock up on saturday or email me your contact details to be photographed at a later date.

Nurture ~ A collection of recipes from Canberra’s finest restaurants

It’s finally here and being published – how exciting!

Over the past two years I’ve been working with SIDS & Kids photographing yummy food around Canberra to produce this recipe book soon to be available for purchase, with proceeds going towards SIDS & Kids. As they put it,  Nurture is

“a showcase of the Canberra region’s best restaurants and chefs presented in a professionally photographed and designed publication.”

Each of the recipes are pretty tasty (I speak from first hand experience!) and you will not be disappointed with your copy.

The book launch is open to anyone, (see invitation for details), or email me if you’re interested. I’m hoping to be there on the night, as the Lobby puts on a delightful feast that I’ve tasted many times and hopefully more to come! xx

Hang it Yourself Exhibition

HIY Exhibition InvitationJamberoo BirdsTaking part in the HIY exhibition held at Photo Access, Canberra, is the latest bit of photographic activity for me. This is one of the five prints which I’ve included in the exhibition. None of the prints are related to the other, and majority are opportunities that I’ve driven past while working, and had to stop the car to capture as I saw something special in the environment around me.Interestingly, four of the five feature beautiful shades of blue/grey, similar to the colour I’ve used on my new business cards.
